Terms and conditions

Introduction

By participating in the monthly prize draw, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The prize draw is being run by Groundwork South who are contracted to deliver domestic water efficiency visits on behalf of Wessex Water.

Eligibility to enter

The prize draw is open to any Wessex Water customer booking and successfully completing a domestic water efficiency visit.

For the duration of the monthly prize draw offer, all customers will be made aware of their eligibility to be automatically entered into the prize draw as part of the water efficiency visit booking process undertaken by Groundwork South.

All customers reserve the right to exclude themselves from the prize draw at the point of booking the visit if they so wish.

Entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Wessex Water and Groundwork employees and/or associates are excluded from the draw.

By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prize that may be awarded to you.

There is a limit of one entry per household and the prize draw is completely free to enter.

The prize

The winning prize will be a gift voucher (of the winner's choice) to the value of GBP £150.

The use of any specific brands as prizes by Groundwork South does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable once it has been agreed with the winner, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

Groundwork South reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

Groundwork South's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

For the duration of the prize draw offer, a monthly draw will be held and a winner will be chosen at random and notified via telephone. The draw will be held on the second Monday of the month and the entrants will be customers that successfully completed their domestic water efficiency in the previous month.

Groundwork South will make two attempts to contact the winner via phone.

If the winner does not respond to the calls informing them of their win within five working days of the second call, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Groundwork South reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the prize

The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered once the voucher choice has been agreed; otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement. The prize will either be hand delivered or sent by recorded post.

Data protection and publicity

By entering the prize draw you agree that your personal information utilised when booking the water efficiency visit will be used in the prize draw by Groundwork South for the sole purpose of administering the competition.

All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing wessexwater@groundwork.org.uk.

The winner's first name and town/location of residence will be made available, but no further information will be provided.

Limitation of liability

Groundwork South accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

Groundwork South reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
